Percentage of Weight: For choosing our grand prize
winners, we will consider percentage of weight loss. For example, if you weigh 200
pounds at the beginning of the challenge and 180 at the end of the challenge, you lost 20 pounds
or 10% of your body weight. Participants with the largest percentage weight loss will be eligible to win grand prices.
The recommended healthy weight loss is ½- 2 pounds per week (though some weeks there may be a large loss and some weeks none at all). There is not a percentage recommendation, as that will vary so much by the beginning weight of the individual.
